RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDED:

Performed ADA code research
Bathroom design
Custom cabinet drawings
Provided labeling and building notes

Designed and provided (FF&E) Furniture, Fixture & Equipment Specifications
Fire code implementation and validations through the Fire Marshal
Handled all printing of the completed construction documentation from both architectural firms involved.

Architectural Drafting and Space Planning

For this project I worked with a team of architects to design and draft the new building for Clegg’s Nursery.

We collaborated on construction documents and design ideas. I aided in fire code research for the building and document notations. In addition to the construction documents I collaborated on, I personally designed the bathrooms to ADA specification, and designed all the custom cabinetry for the building.

A few of my contributions are shown below including elevation and detail drawings. The detail drawings of built-ins that I provided were Of the office, bathroom and break room areas and the new registers.

CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS

Commercial buildings must abide by building codes and regulations. ADA Regulation and building code research is important in the construction of a new building.

All cabinetry is custom designed for the building, therefore I provided detail drawings and coordinated with the Millworker to ensure quality. In conclusion of the project, I submitted our plans to the Fire Marshall to be approved before bringing the construction document set to a printing service.
