Architectural Drafting and Space Planning
with Architect, Jairo Leon​

​Jairo and I collaborated on floor plan designs per the needs of the clients. The Stelly House is one of the residential projects that Jairo asked me to make major design decisions on. The home was to be a gift for Mr. Jeansonne’s two children. I came up with several upper level layouts. After consults with the family, we refined my layouts for the final plan.

I designed the entire upper level floor plan and colaborated with Jairo on the lower level. The total area under the roof is over 6,000 sqft.

In later stages of the design process, we decided to flip the floor plan on the vertical axis.

The Stelly Residence shares a lot with the Jeansonne Residence. This can be seen in the site plan I drafted for the family (Bottom of the page).
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Residential buildings must abide by building codes and regulations. Fire, electrical, plumbing, and safety regulation research is important in the construction of a new building.
All cabinetry is custom designed for the home, therefore I provided detail drawings and coordinated with the Millworker to ensure quality. In conclusion of the project, I submitted our plans to the Fire Marshall to be approved before bringing the construction document set to a printing service.

Stelly and Jeansonne Residencies
The Stelly House occupies the lower lot shown below. The two families share the large plot of land with a pond which provides drainage for the property located behind the homes.
